New member here from Texas. I am looking to purchase a GLS 450 at the moment. Originally my wife found and X166 she loved, but it was a smokers car and realizing the 2nd row was a bench that would prevent access to the 3rd row with car seats installed has made us realize we need to focus on the X167. We were close to a deal on one, but couldn't quite get comfortable with the details so we passed. I have been doing lots of research here since there is a wealth of information and decided I should just join up since it's inevitable that I will be making a purchase.

Many thanks MBpippo. Here is my CLK as was advertised by the seller. I will post current photos once the rain stops; could be hours, or possibly weeks. Both photos are of the car as advertised... ...You can see it needs a good lot of tidying.
Thanks. I have had it a couple of months now, and have pretty much got the interior as clean as I could possibly get it: it was really bad. I hope to post more recent pictures possibly later today.

Work in progress: so far, levels of ATF and engine oil corrected - they were over filled, rear tyres replaced, and front calipers replaced. Next will be the front tyres and a full refurbishment of the alloys (as and when finances dictate).
Come the summer, I intend to complete as full a service as I can (ATF and filter, oil and filter, brake fluid, ps fluid, and so on) - I see there are lots of information on mbworld for me to refer to, helping me on my way .

I just put deposit down on my first ever Mercedes, Throughout my life always had BMW's and lots of them.
Not sure if this was the right decision but well too late picking the beauty up this weekend.
It's a C300d AMG Line, Premium Plus Night edition.
It's a mouthful.
I understand Premium plus is the one with all the bells & Whistle and Night Edition is the blacked out bits, AMG line I have been told is when the car has same AMG trimming please correct if I am wrong.

First thing I want to do is change the grill to blacked out one , I think its called Panamericana Grill.
Any other recommendations..
