New guy from California - S55 AMG
Hey guys!

I've been a long time reader of the forums and figured it was time to sign up since I bought my first AMG car.
It's a 2005 S55 AMG in white. Love the car so far and I'm looking forward to keeping it alive with the help of the forums.

It's going to be getting some mild modifications and be my new daily driver.

It is really nice, I got lucky. It was a two owner car with all the service records and apparently it was always garaged. I believe it.

I have the cheap Chinese XS Power LTH made for the E55/CLS55 cars. They're popular with the W211 guys.

It requires some work and some cutting of the subframe to get them in. I also used bolts instead of studs to attach them to the head. This gives you some extra clearance to get them up and in.
