New to the Brand, New to the Forum
Checking in as a new member to mbworld, and as a new driver of Mercedes Benz. After 18 years driving BMWs (eight between the wife and me), could no not resist the pull of the E 450 Coupe. Have been attracted to this car at the last two LA Auto Shows, and was hooked after a test drive - especially in Sport+. I think the E 450 Coupe is a classic beauty, the interior is a good combination of lux and sporty, and the power, handling, and steering feel are on target. AMG Line with 19-inch AMG wheels was a must-have, as was the 12.3 inch digital instrument cluster (optional on 2019s). So for now, wife and I are engaged in the Stuttgart-Munchen rivalry, but I'm just enjoying the ride.

Welcome nice looking ride. Mercedes Benz was a no show at the Chicago auto show this year. I guess they could not afford the fee to enter.

Carmakers disappear and then return at LA Auto Show. Mercedes is always one of the best exhibits - the most models displayed and the biggest crowds. And their staff is great.

I am traveling to Frankfurt Germany in two weeks for business meeting and I am planning to attend the Geneva International Motor Show. Looks like it will be an awesome show: https://www.gims.swiss/ MB looks like they have one of the largest exhibit space next to BMW.

In January Mercedes was a no show at the Boston International Auto Show. Audi and BMW were also absent. Last year MB and Audi both had big exhibits at the Boston Sho.
