Wife and I just bought our first MB. 2020 GLS 450 with the 6 seat configuration. Only have had it for a day, but it's by far the best car we have ever owned (got an insane deal on it). Traded in our 2019 Honda Odyssey Elite for the car (still have children, so we need the practical space of the 3rd row). Still learning all of the quirks and features of the car and look forward to many years in the vehicle. Especially excited for the increased towing...going to take this to see Yellowstone with a camper.

Exactly what I was going for...listened to soooooooo many YT reviews online these past few months narrowing it down to the GLS, X7, and Model X. X7 is just too narrow...can't fit in between the captain's chairs to get to the 3rd row (no one has time to wait for the seat animation to move when you have kids to get in the car). Additional feature is I live in Atlanta. We have the Mercedes Benz Stadium. We now get free parking at events (just have to do it 48 hours before the event to secure a space in the MB lot). Happy to be part of the family.

I was able to secure a GLS450 6 seater in the Lunar Blue with heated steering wheel (rare in the South and req of the wife), convenience package, 5 zone climate, panoramic roof, trailer hitch, 21” 5 spike wheels, soft close doors, AR MBUX, Illuminated Running Board, and Active Lane Assist as options ($85,740 with delivery fee MSRP). I was able to get it for 11% off as they had the car on the lot exactly how she wanted it and were willing to negotiate much further than they ever do. I was one of 2 people in the dealership that day...and this is the largest dealer in Atlanta. Also, banks are also willing to deal and secured a 2.5% interest on the loan. It was a top notch experience...seriously above expectations. Car was fully detailed and in the showroom when we arrived, deal papers were all drawn up, finance manager was excellent, and the drive out tutorial was low stress and quick.
Still need to order all weather mats (probably going WeatherTech route unless anyone else has a suggestion since MB doesn’t make a mat for the 3rd row), mounts for the iPads for the kids, and crossbars for the car top carrier (none of this is urgent as we aren’t going anywhere right now).
