Hey guys just bought my 03 C230 the other day. So far it's been great. Have a short list of stuff to do to make it a reliable daily already. Trying to figure out how to put a pic of it up from mobile now! [figured it out, pic below]
List so far:
Oil Change (who knows when the last one was)
Cam Position sensor (current one has broken wiring plug but is hooked up)
Get new tires

Welcome. It's rare to find a C230 hatchback in such nice condition. How many miles on it? If I was you, I think I would go ahead and change all of the fluids as in coolant, brake, power steering, differential, so you can start fresh and have a reference point for when future fluid changes will be needing to be done. Never hesitate to ask for help here. People are more than glad to help and very nice. The people in the section of the forum for your particular model will be owners of your particular model and will likely have had the issue you may need help with and can offer solid advise.

190k currently. Actually having an issue now that has just developed. When engine is hot I have a crank, no start issue. If I let it cool down for a bit or crank it enough times it will start but stumble for a minute or two. All signs point to Crank pos sensor. However I can't seem to find it. Usually they are on the bellhousing but I can not locate it. Any help?

I would suggest you post your question in the W203 section of the forum. You can find it by scrolling down the main forum page until you find it. You'll find owners there of the various W203 versions of the C class. They'll be more than glad to help you. The new member section is just for introductions.
