Led Headlight bulb (high beam)
Ok I’ve got this 05 C240 SportsWagon & I recently have converted over to led headlight bulbs. So my car calls for an H7 bulb for both high & low beam but when I removed the high beam there was an H1 bulb. Everywhere I have looked tells me the same thing & that is that I should have 4 H7 bulbs in my headlight assembly. H7 bulbs have 2 terminals & H1 has only 1 so the previous owner couldn’t have got it wrong & installed the wrong bulb & it still work, could they? I’m worried that when I buy an H1 led conv kit it will not fit in the high beam housing. Has anyone else ran into this problem? Thank you in advance for any input.

I thank u 4 the compliments I have done ALOT of work recently to it like replacing factory hood for carbon fiber (still haven’t been able to get it to sit like factory) the lower front bumper grille took me about 2 years to get the right 1 from a company in Germany(this was 1 of the most difficult things I have ever done on an automobile, the front bumper has to be pulled apart in order to install lower grille, NOT FUN) RACK-N-PINION or steering gear I think MB calls it(very simple task) completely replaced all A/C parts(simple task) power steering pump & res(2wice cause I just had to get a reman instead of brand new thanks Parts Geek!) tensioner & pulley(no brain-er) transmission conductor plate & plug, filter & gasket(again pretty simple thanks to YouTube’s Mercedes-Benz Diesel Mechanic, I love that guy he has been there for me since I got this car 3yrs ago) both driver side ext door handles & door & fender molding(simple) coolant reservoir(simple task) 4tires & rims from Atlanta all of this within the last 4months except for the rims I got about 2yrs ago/ the car was grey & a little abused by an ungrateful punk when I saved it when I first got it I had it painted & some body work that I had a friend do for $3500 plus paint & accessories which ain’t cheap I found out also I had to replace the complete front suspension control arms upper & lower,sway bar & link connectors,inner & outer tie rods front & rear brake pads & rotors(drilled & slotted) but the most recent thing would be these led conversion kits which cost for the ones that are bright,last a long time with good warranty but I really need to hear from someone who has bought a pair of H1 led high beam headlights.
