Checking in from the DMV (2nd try...lol)...
------------------------------------ Re-post ---------------------------------
Hey MBWorld! I'm back...and blessed to be the happy owner of a gem -- a pre-owned (practically new!) 2015 E63 S w/ only...(wait for it)...6300+ miles! Was in the market and searching the country for a decent '15/'16 E63 that I could call my own, and only by the grace of God, I found one here locally in pristine shape. So excited to be back in a W212...wife had a '12 E350 that she loved...we both agree that the platform is arguably one of Mercedes' best. Glad to be back on the forum w/ this powerhouse...it was a hard decision to finally transition from my 2013 300 SRT8 that I bought brand new and kept stock (NA) for over eight years--after two engine rebuilds due to the notorious "Hemi tick", thought it was in my best interest to let it go w/ over 168,000 miles on the ticker before things started failing--still running good when I signed over the title though! Little nick-nack stuff like trunk release, windshield washer, humidity control, and blue-tooth stopped working...guess it was time...gonna really miss my UConnect and being able to pause/rewind live music and heated/chilled cup holders!

Welcome @Galindawagen - DMV here too.
You have what my wife fondly refers to as the Mercedes "Glick"...lol I was actually looking @ those for her when I decided to go w/ the W212 "E"... The "Glick" still catches my eye...always loved them...enjoy!!Last edited by hofb1999; Aug 27, 2021 at 06:51 PM.
I dropped it off at the dealership Thursday in order to get the emissions work done* and have been driving a 2021 GLC300 loaner. "Newer is not always better; superseded is not always exceeded" is proving out, in my experience, and I am having the opposite of buyer's remorse. (I would not buy what I'm currently driving.)
*I did a lot of research, a fair bit of it here, before deciding to buy a GLK, so I knew what I was in for
