I've always wanted an AMG as long as i can remember.
so far my cars have been meh at best. My first car was a used 01 honda accord my dad found on a street corner with a for sale sign, he even helped me with half. Then i moved onto a 06 328i which i fell in love with, wasnt the fastest or manual but id always drive around in the sequential shifter having fun lol. After a few months my baby got totaled by some lady that didnt stop at a stop sign i used the insurance money and got a ford mustang v6, we're just not even talk about this one, all ima say is im not a mustang guy. Got rid of that and just went tame for a few years with a hybrid honda insight. About 3 years of owning it and the only thing i enjoyed about the insight was how it was decent on gas ~40ish mpg when driving *cough*the speed limit *cough*

i was soooooo bored of having a slow car, saw equity in my honda insight and sold it for a profit.
took those profits and bought me a 2016 Audi A3 (it was salvage title to a rear panel hit with proof and pics, repaired at a professional garage and maintenance at a euroshop) the lovely couple that sold me the audi said it had a broken fuel pump, so i had it towed home. weird thing is when i went to check it out the cables were unplugged so i dont know if they had been lied to or not, didnt really care so I drove an hour to audi Calabasas to get a new one. Popped that sucker in there and the car was running nice.
but wait josh, you said a fast car
even with the audi, my hunger remained, i wanted something fast. So as a person with no money i did what anyone else would do, went back on offerup and kept looking at cars. Looked into chargers but eh, the body is too heavy, and the owner of the 392 wouldnt budge on price. Gave up on offerup and went on Craigslist. I kid you not, within 10 seconds of searching amg i found the car i KNEW i was going to own.
A 2009 Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 AMG with 70k miles (salvage) (yeaaaa its salvage sorry if that killed your dream sorry ) this thing looked immaculate!!!! Was bought by a dealership at auction and repaired professionally. Guy selling it was moving up to the mountains and was in escrow with a lien on the car so he decided to bite the bullet and get rid of it. I instantly messaged the guy and told asked him how much for a down deposit (mind you, I legit had 0 dollars for the car ) he agreed to hold it for $300 for 4 days. The instant i got off the phone with him I did what any other perfectly sane individual would do to afford a vehicle. Get a loan? Nahhhh, posted the 2016 Audi A3 on offerup
Bois when i say this was a real clencher i mean it, had a few interested, asked to check it out but nothing really solid. Come the night of the 3rd day and I see a phone call, its Mr. Guy. Im panicking because i dont know what to say, I didnt have the money ready, took a deep breath and answered his call. Honesty is the best policy bois, told him i had a guy that was supposed to check out the car but he rescheduled to the next morning. Mr. Guy says okay and gives me till the end of the next day to get the money. I dont know if theres an allah, a Jesus, or some guy named fred out there secretly pulling all the strings or not but when I say this thing worked out so well im not kidding lol. Come the next morning one of the buyers says he'll buy the car if I drive out to LA and deliver it to him. I was a little upset ngl, dudes asking me to sell him a car and walk home, i express my *disapproval* and he agrees to give me $50 extra for an uber home, which i agree. I drive out to LA, sell the audi (for profit even after cost of OEM fuel pump) and hit up Mr. Guy all happy cause I got the money. Mr. Guy says hes has family stuff and asks to reschedule, i nervously agree. That wholeeeeee night i got maybe an hour or two of sleep cause i kept expecting a message from Mr. Guy saying he sold the car. Luckily he didnt and we met up the next day and i bought it!!!! Ahahaha not even 10 minutes into owning it and a biker complimented me
My goals are ARH headers, straight pipes and skip stage 1 and go for stage pikaCHU

I can't wait to learn so much from you all. Ive tried to keep it in the manual mode as much as i can to get a feel for the car. Comfort mode basically irrelevant. I have noticed the rear wheels like to kick a bit
