Picking up a new to me ’16 E400 Cabriolet w/13k miles today as a birthday surprise for my wife. I’m a vehicle collector with an affinity for personal luxury coupes and full size sedans. In addition to cars, I am a Blues music aficionado and petroliana collector. I also dabble in auto detailing.
I previously owned a ‘12 E Class sedan and a ‘93 S600 coupe, but have not had an MBZ product in my stable for a number of years. Looking forward to making this convertible shine and letting my spouse drive around topless 😉.
I’m sure I’ll have many questions and I appreciate you all sharing your experience and advice. Pics of the new car will follow when I have it ready to impress you, lol. For now, thanks in advance for all your help!
A couple pics of my cars. I’m pretty much a GM guy, but appreciate many other brands as well. A special modern car you may never see in person is a 2019 or 2020 Lincoln Continental “Coach Door Edition.” Google it to read the details 😉…

After a long weekend of detailing the car came out very good. Cleaned, clayed, compounded, polished, and protected. Interior cleaned and protected. Wheels and tires too!
