Bought my first car, a 2016 E 350 earlier this month!
Hello from TN! Only took 32 years, but I finally managed to purchase my first car! Until now I've just been driving family vehicles.
Discovered this forum when researching an issue I have on my car and found an incredibly helpful solution I intend to look into over the weekend. With the vast wealth of knowledge on display in this forum I definitely want to be a part of this community should I experience any other issues with my first car, or just for basic tips and tricks for regular maintenance and upkeep.
As for more about me, I have ASD, I go by Jon, and I'm a VR enthusiast. I'm a community manager for a VR accessory company. My hobbies include sim racing, sim flying, gaming, listening to music, and cooking (although I'm a beginner haha). As for sports I really enjoy endurance racing and like to watch IMSA and WEC race replays on youtube. I have difficulty maintaining a sleep schedule and don't subscribe to any streaming services, so I don't catch any of the races live. One of my all time favorite endurance races of the year is the 12H of Bathurst at Mount Panorama. MB AMG is very big in New South Wales, and they are always a big part of the advertising during the event. I never really thought I'd ever own a Mercedes-Benz, little alone as my first car, so I feel incredibly thankful, blessed, and excited to have the car I do!
Hi @Bounty_V and welcome aboard. Thanks for the intro and sharing the pic with us Jon. Your E looks great
Thanks! I'm used to driving cars that are roughly 20 years old, and discovering all the cool features in my car has been an absolute treat. For example, I like that the horn doesn't honk when I lock the car, and that the side mirrors fold in.

That is reassuring to hear! I bought it at 111k miles. I definitely want to do my best to take good care of it.
