What to do with an AMG?
Hi all, long time scroller of this site, have learnt so much about my cars here and now I have really dived in the deep end. I have a 2003 CLK500, Low mileage, lowered h&r springs better exhaust, but I've just bought a CLK55AMG with front end damage same year so all front end bits are the same.
original idea was to swap as many amg parts to my normal clk (except the amg badge on the trunk of course) but of course now I want to save it if possible so I am pulling bits off my good car to alighn the 55. Looking forward to too many weekends spent getting it ready for licencing.

Yes that is a bit of a worry for me, it got hit front corner and bent the frame rail a bit. The black bolt on extensions took most of the bending but the main chassis rail is bent. It's going into a body shop that has the fancy measuring machine so I'm hoping it is fixable at a price that isn't more than the car is worth. The impact didn't touch the motor, radiator fine, and the amg bumper when unbolted sprang back into shape.(love mercedes plastic PU) What is really driving me on this project is that the motor and tranny are good but probably unsellable and I think that is sad.
