New W223 Model
I wonder if they look at the forums and see everyone's fright and go back to a previous but unapproved design.
I mean - one slab of straight wood is all the dash is going to get? And two screens? That's luxury? Give me a break.

I know design is subjective but I would hope that the overwhelming majority would say this

looks a lot richer than this: (NEW PICTURE ALERT)

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
80k instead of 125k.
All the bells and whistles.
I think the 2020 G90 is the best answer.

I literally saw a Genesis the other day and thought things that I'm too embarrassed to even say publicly on a forum, let alone in real life. However, Genesis has a way to go. Sorry. As silly as the W223 is purported to look like, I'd still rather get one of those than a G90, despite the price premium as well.
A Genesis G90 versus an E class? Now we're talking. However, as a flagship car, the G90 has a ways to go. The dang thing doesn't even ride on air suspension (I can notice the differences) and from a sound perspective it's as noisy as an E class, let alone an S class despite the dual pane windows.
It's a work in progress - a dang fine work in progress, but it's not ready for this segment yet.

Here's my dilemma. Genesis will not allow for a 'discount' off of MSRP. With Audi/MB/BMW, I can get 7% off of MSRP at least with thousands of dollars of rebates back for an executive car allowance, and being a member of society A, etc. When all was said and done, I could buy a 7 series or A8 at the price of a Genesis G90.
That's when the Genesis went out the door for me!

Wether one likes it or not, display screens are part of the latest tech in cars and the S-Class will have them.
The Bentley (which is quite beautifully inside out) doesn’t have to bother being high-tech due to their niche but it will be the same on their next gen models.
Recent conversations confirm the S-Class center screen but a bit nicer than photo shopped in this thread
