Mechanical with automatic winding; caliber 3035; 27 jewels.
Black dial, luminiscent hour markers, Mercedes hands.
Stainless Steel, bidirectional black enamel sport rotative bezel, sapphire crystal with cyclope magnifying glass on date aperture at 3; 40 x 12,5 mm; screw-down back and screw-down crown.
Hours, minutes, sweep seconds and quick set date.
Oyster New Style Stainless Steel Band with Flip Lock Clasp; 20mm (between lugs) 7.25 inches.

Just my 2 cents: Probably closer to $3000 in value without paperwork, (I have bought and sold quite a few Rolexes in the past). Also, try posting on eBay and include the serial number, any service history, and get it professionally appraised (documented) serviced and cleaned if you want to get closer to asking price. Good luck, it is a great classic!

closer to 3K with no box and papers. i just picked up a another oyster datejust from a wholesales with box/papers - green sticker still intact for 2800 and picked up a new datejust in LA from a broker for 4500 with new link design. I know the sub is worth a bit more but just sharing examples. GL with the sale.

What is a 2004 Sea-Dweler worth these days? Good condition with box and papers.
