'04 42ft SCISM MTI/FOUNTAIN 180MPH SUPER-CAT w/ Twin Sterling Big Chief 1300HP's

Located in S. FLa.
This 180mph capable Super-Cat 42’ SCISM has only four (4) true hours on it. This is the safest 42’ cat built, and arguably the most respected. This one of a kind boat has never been raced or poker run. This fantastic boat is easy to operate, easy to dock, and idles all day long without loading up, while doubling as a water rocket for those in need for speed. It is easy to shift and truly a joy to operate. This 42’ SCISM has two (2) small cabins; a king size bed and a bathroom port-a-pottie (a must for those longer trips with children/women). It offers the finest interior available and has powered seats for extra comfort. This 42 SCISM offers a place to hide in the rain which offers comfortable seats and a stereo to boot.
This boat has been in no big water (It has been fully prop tested (5 blade/herring set and 4 blade merc set)). This is quite likely the only top shelf powered stand up cat that has never been hammered. This is a rare one of a kind, truly pristine boat. The hours on this boat or lack thereof is incredible. This boat drops jaws with its inventive paint scheme. There is nothing left to want or desire in a fast, fast boat. The boat has been in storage for the last two years.
Truly a very RARE find! This celebrity owned boat was built to the same standard as the world famous 42 Scism cat! (This boat was actually set up by world champion Johnny Tomlinson.) It’s an almost exact replica of his offshore champion except his capsuled race boat doesn’t have an interior or bed. Johnny’s identical race boat when stripped down went 190 mph with the same design motors.
This is the fastest possible stand up cat while still having a bathroom for women/children (absolutely necessary). This boat has two (2) 1300hp STERLING PERFORMANCE 572” Semi-Hemi BIG CHIEF heads with fuel injection that have been balanced with an ATLANTIC sonic analyzer, designed to be so vibration free that they operate easily 1500 higher (7000rpm) than the factory Mercury’s available. This is why most of the former APBA record holders including the famed DRAMBUI ON ICE offshore racing boat utilized Sterling’s because they rev higher and have much more dependability. The additional RPM’s allow the boat to be propped with a faster ratio and still keep the same top speed. Sterling’s Big Chief world class Semi-Hemi design motors. #6 drives, Herring props, and BAM transmissions complete this incredible package. I stress that these Sterling motors with “Big Chief Semi-Hemi Heads" were $20k extra on the Sterling’s. There is no finer vibration free motor made anywhere in the world. 90% of big offshore races are won with Sterling’s. They cost over $100k each!! They make those "factory crate" engines look like a joke on the water. If you know these engines, you know that they are the finest made; Sterling’s are the Ferraris of all engines.
This boat was designed to be "family friendly": this boat was designed with a $60k fuel injection system to allow family idling around for daily use. Two (2) pulley systems allow the operator to use pump gas or race gas at their heart’s content. Both sets of blower pulleys are included; the bigger pulleys have never been installed. The boat can run on pump gas or race gas with the current smaller blower pulleys. My boat has both sets of props, 1 set to get to 135 mph quickly, and the other prop for top speed.
This boat was purchased in 2004 from FOUNTAIN/MTI but was not completed for several years. This boat was rigged by MTI and completed at Fountain in 2005. The paint took 7 months at Art Of Design where the latest non-fading Mercedes red was applied with the winner of 32 paint schemes submitted. Chrome Illusion paint was then applied. The ‘Phat Cat’ graphic was done after 65 sketches were submitted; the final was from world famous ‘Rug Rats’ artist and Jim Hern Productions. This cat graphic was painted over a full paint scheme so removing the cat is no problem, should the next owner not love cats. After the $75k paint job, the total investment was at $775k.
The tunnel design has the correct compression ratio to lift quickly as attested to the 35 speed records the SCISM 42 design holds. The magical compression ratio or design of the amount of air in the tunnel has proven perfect for lifting the boat out of the water quickly, even with 6 people on board. This makes the boat ideal for rough waves, plus allows its riders/passengers to stand up, bending their knees for a much easier ride. Plus it’s safer with the tall freeboard. The tall freeboard is a big advantage over other cats as the tall sides allow the passengers to stand up or sit down.
This boat can be delivered anywhere in the world, tested on demand, and has a clear title. Boat can be certified and delivered anywhere in the world at buyer’s expense. Also included is a MYCO aluminum trailer w/ mags that’s like new.

$775K Invested
ASKING: $425K, MAKE OFFER.
Any questions, don't hesitate.

This fountain has over 2500HP on pump gas. This boat is truly one-of-a-kind. I must stress all the other boats like this have been abused. 99% have alot of stress cracks in tunnel, hull etc. This is a rare one of a kind. Not many would be so weird as to build such a monster and never race it. Even a '08 boat would have at least 50 hours on it!

BUMP

That is such a sweet boat - can't stop thinking about it - what an exotic machine and a shame to sell it at that price!

Bump and propose a fractional ownership sale so we can all own a piece of that dream;

- broker / rent it on the Americas HOT events circuit for pure cool factor, mid level tourists, and corps.

- How about a full APBA Race graphics on demand for bigger budget corp renters? Instant Race Boat branding !!

Show only - run it with a hired pilot at an ultra premium but client insures/pays for breakage. Those power plants are off the hook!

Bundle in a few hot branded hostesses upon request

Maybe some developer will lease it for their Marina sales launch / re launch.

BUMP
