Yeah, I know purists will say it's not a real Lotus but considering it costs about the same as my EQE 500 SUV which has depreciated 30% in one year I sort of regret not waiting for it. This is the kind of EV a guy could fall in love with and want to keep for a while. My Mercedes just doesn't generate those kind of feelings. I'm already wanting to trade it in. Galloway Green is a lot prettier than Emerald Green too IMHO. Unless the sun is shining brightly Emerald Green just looks like plain black most of the time. Bleh!

I know Democrats won't take responsibility for this but it's 100% their fault. I was going to buy an MG Cyberster too but now, because of Democrats, I'm going to trade-in my EQE SUV for an ICE vehicle. There are just no EVs available in the USA that interest me.

The "Carbon" edition for USA is actually based on the 905HP "R" version which was originally $140K, so Road and Track made a little error. 0-60 is just under 3 seconds... Mat from CarWOW drove one on a race track a year ago (skip ahead about 10 minutes):

But saving the planet from global warming is/was a foundation of the "Democratic" Party's platform which they completely abandoned as soon as it became inconvenient. I haven't heard one single word about climate change from any Democrat this election season. Maybe those Republican conspiracy theorists who claimed it was all a scam to rip people off with carbon taxes were right.

I just can't get over the language barrier. Not so much speaking but reading and writing. Korean straight up looks alien to me, like the kind from outer space. After having to navigate the medical system here in the USA by myself, I'm pretty sure it'd be impossible for me to do over there. If I were younger and healthier though I'd be posting this from Hong Kong. *sigh*
I might buy the Lotus Eletre anyways. At least I won't have to worry about Elon helping Benjamin Satanyahu plant PETN explosives in Cybertrucks like they did with pagers. Chinese cars make me feel safe and secure.
