MBCA Show N Shine Premeet and Drive

Thought it would be cool to organize a pre-meet on August 15th before the MBCA show up on the Nile Colf Course. We can meet up at a central location at a specified time, hang out for a bit, and then drive up together. It'd be nice to rep. for the younger MB modders at this show.

I should be able to make it...not sure what I'll drive though. The older people at the show would like the old beast, but the E55 doesn't get shown off much. I'll have to see if I can recruit someone to follow me or shuttle me back and forth maybe. I recently and finally joined the club, too

Pre-meet location will be on Mercer Island at the Lid--a parking lot overlooking the I90 Floating Bridge at 9am on August 15th. It's central for everyone here in the Puget Sound area, offers a nice backdrop for some pics, and is really easy to find. We can hang out for a little bit then get to the golf course by about 10:30 for the show.

we should change the premeet location to that park where we met before the Mercer Island Car Show. That park is more lower car friendly whereas the QFC is not really low car friendly.... just a suggestion, what do you think?

Sounds cool, I should be able to make it. Weather forecasts are looking good for next wknd too.

Who all is putting their car in the show?

I still don't know what I will drive...haven't found anyone available to I trust to tag along driving the E55.

it's been hiding in my garage the whole time..lol

if the weather is good enough I will definitely want to bring it out for exercise since it's been in storage for soo long. but that car is really scary, hard to control

Is it a 140?

I noticed my E55 was terrible on the slick wet roads last Saturday, thanks to the rear tires being worn. The fintail on the other hand puts out so little torque at normal driving rpms , too much power is never a worry

I am pretty sure I have talked someone into driving my E55 to the show...so both of my beasts will be in attendance.

W210 E73? hahaha Will's digging deep with that guess lol. Yogi already spilled the beans but I'll keep it under wraps for now.

Glad you got the logistics of bringing both cars worked out. I'm pumped to see that AMG, never seen a 210 E55 in that color combo before.

For those that are not registered with MBCA and thus not registered for the show, you should come anyway, the convoy up is going to be a blast and it should be a fun day.

D'oh...I saw the mention of a 600 and promptly forgot it.

I have seen a nice W140 S600 running around this part of Bellevue now and then, good color, kind of similar to the modern flint grey.

This will be my first of these shows...should be a fun day.
