I agree...

Or you can pay RennTech $1300 and get 30 more HP and 40more torque without the dust inside the cylinders!

none
Those kids suck. I can see it now, APC(ha ha ) starts producing adapters for civic leaf blower intakes....Nice buldge in the hood showing the town that those front wheels are puttin' down "twin leaf blowa' crazy powa' kid yo!!"

wouldn't put it past em'....

Leaf blower, It's forced induction.......obviously we now that works. We just know that a leaf blower is for the back yard. I give up on those guys....

Blower

You know, it doesn't have to be a leaf blower to give you some forced induction. There are 12 VDC electric axial blowers that can move up to 1000 cfm (1/4 hp).

At $400 that's a pretty inexpensive way to gain a few horsepower.

The raw nitrous is too much. I hope it was their own cars they were doing that to. Morons.

Probably not their cars!

BTW, that amount of N2O is not going to hurt much. After all, there are dry shots that produce 75+HP.

I don't think 75 HP for a dry nitrous setup is a good idea, even on a V8, unless the ECU has the ability to compensate. What they were spraying looked like a lot more than what a 50-75 HP nozzle would flow, probably WAY lean in both cases. Clueless. Now I want to see the follow up vid where the motor grenades!

Most ECUs run so damn rich at WOT that 75 is not a real problem but I wouldn't want to risk anything over that.

I too would love to see them trying to explain a dyno grenade to a customer!

The question dares to be asked...

... why? Who in their right mind would attempt to increase HP using... a leaf blower! What's next for these nincompoops... a turbo-charged weed whacker?!? Or, perhaps an NO fed hedge trimmer. Thank God these buffoons blow up rice rockets. They sound like beans working their way through a cow’s digestive system, anyway! Now I know why my SL beats the snot out of ‘em – they didn’t have a long enough extension cord!

I got to thinking about this tonight. If it weren't for experimentations where would we be? I recal the days of trying to put a turbo on my go-kart (1970s) and later a snowmobile and a jetski. I even tried using my SCUBA tank as a forced induction system on my SeaDoo. Ok, none of them were successful but I learned a helluva lot from those tests!

True E55AMG99, but...

... I seriously doubt you - even in your wildest dreams - attempted to accelerate a gasoline-powered piston engine with an implement designed to clear leaves and debris from lawns! Turbos on go-karts - YEA! Even the scuba tank, more or less, makes sense on the Skidoo. But, leaf blowers in place of roots blowers - neyt! Sorry, this one gets lofty marks on the dufus scale.
