i only saw the informercial today when i was clicking through the channels.
they show the dyno of a Impala SS that made some 20 hps increase after that Tornado thing was put in.
it that Credible, or just something that cooked up by someone who wants to make money.
In the informercial, they said the thing was showned on one of the Speed Channel's show call something Garage with the guy with the mustash. And, it was the Product of the month by HotRod magazine.

Most of the stuff on these infomertials rarely work. The fine print at the bottom of the infomertials most of the time will read something along the lines of "Results not typical."

As far as the "Tornado", I can sell you a Budweiser Tornado, Coors Tornado, Pepsi Tornado (for the underage), or any other type you request Just send $10 and a pair of tin snips and I'll cut one up for you.

It makes sense that it would work on a carbeurated car but not on fuel injection. It would essentialy cause turbulence just previous to a/f mixture accours in the carb thus it may cause the air and fuel to mix better. It's causing the fuel to break into smaller particles before it hits the combustion chamber. That's the point of a spacer between the carb and manifold it gives the fuel the extra instant to break into smaller particles. However I don't see how it would have an effect on a fuel injected car, especially not a turbo or s/c car.
That's my two cents.

Forget that---it won't do anything. Doesn't matter if your fuel injected, blown, nirtoused, etc...nada is all youre going to get. Spend that money on a K&N, you might actually get measureable RWHP out of it, and you'll probably get better mileage. If nothing else, you'll never have to buy another aircleaner, and that alone is better return on your investment than that POS.

2003 C230 Kompressor Sport Sedan/2008 M3 Coupe M-DCT/1996 328i (Gone)/1988 190E 2.3 (Gone)

Forget about it! I put one in my BMW 328i, didn't really do anything. They didn't have one for my '88 190E either (they sent me one that didn't fit '88 model), will I put one in my 2003 C230 Kompressor Sport Sedan? Don't think so, maybe just a BMC air filter & a Kleemann underpulley kit when it is finally available!
