Friend Going to Japan- Want to Buy Parts???
I am trying to find some good Japanese tuners and websites to see if I can buy anything not readily availible in the US.
Thanks,
Jeff
I find japan to be a bit expensive for aftermarket parts. HK is expensive also, but i guess taiwan sells stuff for a pretty good price.
I purchased a watermellon there in September for $28 at a road stop beween Tokyo and Kyoto. I Tried to imagine it was a filet mignon.

Was it the square watermelon? I think it was in japan where they made a whole watermelon into a cube.
It was a normal elongated one. The square ones are not as easy to find as one might think. It is also rare to find a "whole" watermelon. I had to put together 2 halves. It was difficult for the clerk to understand why anybody would want a "whole" watermelon. At the next rest stop, I decided to try a mellon. That only set me back $25 or so. I even took a picture of it
By the way, Hong Kong is great. I usually stay in Wan Chai when I am there.

Wan Chai is a bit better now, i heard it used to be really dirty and full of prostitutes, well the latter is still true.

Personally, I think aftermarket parts for MB are expensive too in Taiwan unless they are made in Taiwan. However, there are some no-name parts made in Taiwan which will give you fairly good price since most of them are OEM, if you could find one.
Aftermarket parts in JP are surely expensive compare to the price in US, even made in JP.
