New 100 Octane Pump in Nor. Cal.

The gas station in Saratoga is now pumping 100 octane. It's $7 a gallon, but it's nice to have another source.

Downtown Saratoga. It's at the corner of Saratoga Avenue, Saratoga-Sunnyvale Road, Saratoga-Los Gatos Road and Big Basin Way. Otherwise known as the intersection of highways 9 and the old 85. Otherwise known as the Village of Saratoga's one stop light and one gas station.

Thanks, I think I'll go load up half a tank this weekend for the SF Bay Area meet at the Beach Chalet.

Do you guys have a tune to take advantage of the 100 octane?

The Union station on Woodwide Rd in Redwood City between El Camino Real and I#280 is another one.

Yes, it's all well and good to find the fuel, but it makes no difference whatsoever to your Mercedes unless you've modified it.

Well yes, that's my point. And more specifically, The ability to advance timming. If you have a tune that takes advantage of a higher octane fuel, you need to be able to "turn off" that tune when you are not using that higher octane fuel.
Like a switch chip with more then one tune.
If you have stock timming, you are just wasting money on fuel that is higher then 91 octane.
