KLEEMANN Roll Call

Just wondering who here has the KLEEMANN Kompressor and how long have you had it?

I'll start:

KLEEMANN G3 kit on E320.
Had it for 3 months.

Hey, same thing with mine. System got replaced after 1.5 months and 1500 miles. Second system so far appears problem free.

CLK 55 Kompressor.

Won 1st place at Star Fest this year in the Michelin Acceleration Event.

We have installed 6 Kompressors so far. Over 50,000 miles clocked with only 1 problem with a v-6 water pump.

The V-8 systems are awesome, smooth, strong............. Can you tell I love 'em.

PS. We are thinking of making upgrade parts for them

Question

Benzmac, are you the owner of the CLK55K that posted the 12.415 ET at Atlanta? If so, what are you running these days? What is your best ET and trap speed to date?

Was that the issue of your gas tank reading empty when full, etc? If so, this is entirely a Mercedes issue. Mine failed 3 times (before the supercharger), and each time was replaced under warranty.

I've replaced the "post sam board" advice by MB dealer.(same cause as yours ? )
==> But it's still wrong
This problem comes after the Kleemann S/C kits of my car
I'm waiting for further check by Kleemann dealer here.

It may have occured after the Kleemann, but it's not related. I will check with my dealer next time I'm there to find out what they replaced to fix the problem.

Hey Benzmac, i live in columbia and i am seriously considering a kleeman s/c for my 98 c43. Have you guys done one yet? What is are hp expectations from the 43? And what would be a rough estimate of total cost parts/ labor. And how long do you need the vehicle? Any info really appreciated. Thanx Moe

To answer 2 questions.

Yes, we are the ones that posted low 12's. I am currently changing my suspension and air intake. With this, I hope for 12.000??

We will see.

The C43 should put out about 20hp more than a regular 4.3. This is due to the exhaust system being soooooo much better. Not to mention the camshaft design and different valve springs.

Shine ;

110 % sure, the problem you have isn't S/C related, KLEEMANN USA have serious problems with his E 500 and many others do suffer from the same, The 209 and 211 share the same fuel system design, so problems will be the same on the 2 models.

* My old S 500 shows empty when there "only is 25 L left".
* My E 270 CDI T runs out of diesel when there is 6 L left in the
display.

These gas gauges show like the wind blows.

For you info : Nobody from CMI or DC Taiwan did check with us
for any related problems, whos your contact at CMI - Jason ???

Question for BENZMAC

I see that on your website you did a RENNtech install. Are you a RENNtech dealer?

Yes, we are.

I use the Renntech products for fillers. When Kleemann doesn't offer the product.

A perfect example is the C32 boost kit and the new SL55 boost kit.

I think Kleemann has the BEST product on the market. Period.

But, they can't sell every product for every Mercedes car. We carry different lines to help everyone.

Jason,

Have you considered that your car may have a bad fuel pump from the factory? The fuel pump on the C240 is the same as that on the C32, and thus can handle the increase fuel pressure that the supercharger requires. Mercedes actually has issued a new part number for the fuel pump due to past problems with the C Class fuel pumps. Let's see what happens with your new fuel pump. If you have no future problems, it's obvious that it was your current pump.

Yes, the results will be up soon.

We dynoed the car before and after. It has been two weeks, but I think it improved by 40lbs of torque and over 40hp at the wheels.
