Kleemann Blower on a W203

Hi, I've been researching all the past threads and several websites on the Kleemann blower kit but not too many have been done on a W203 C240. Can people please list their experiences with this setup for this chasis here?

1-Price plus Install

2-Pros / Cons with the setup

3-Additional comments or anything I would need to know about the kit on a 2003 C240. Is the kit worth it on a 240? Does it perform similar to the C320? Clearance issues with the additional blower belts with engine "shifting" under increased throttle? Aftermarket fuel pump needed? Problems with the factory computer setting errors? Is the powdercoated airbox included with your kit? Does your dealer void factory warranty?
etc....

4-Plus pictures if any on the unit installed plus any related mods installed.

Anyone know of any other authorized installers in Calif besides Evosport, Conversion Techniques, and Canepa Design? Quality of work?

Thanks! =)

You may want to contact Kleemann authorized dealers on pricing and install, but here're my comments for what it's worth.

1-Price plus Install : $8400 + ~$1500 install
2-Pros / Cons with the setup : I can't speak for the C240, but the E320 has been mostly pleasant. Water pump was leaking from the beginning, and some other odd fault in the Kompressor that resulted in the replacement of the Kompressor. Kleemann fully backs their warranty, but the only hassle is not having your own car during the 'down-time'.
3-The C24K will be faster than a C320. No powdercoated airbox. I'll defer the answer of the rest of the questions to the owners of C24Ks.

Other dealers include Bergwerks, Steckman Bros, Sprewell Racing. All the quality of work should be similar since they're all personally trained by Kleemann.

We have a customer with a C24k, and he says it is faster than his C43. Depending on the year of your car, you may want to check to see if you have the new fuel pump from Mercedes prior to the installation.

Sprewell Racing has gone through some changes over the last year. Now the shop is run by Ray Sprewell who is taking things very seriously. Sprewell Racing is not a dealer, and I dont see things changing in the future but you can never tell....

Heres a shot of Latrell Sprewells newest addition to his stable of MBZ- in our shop after a SC installation last week.

I'm a huge Knicks fan and obviously a huge fan of the W208.... I wonder if I could get Latrell interested enough in my project CLK to use it as a basis for meeting him?

This is his second KLEEMANN'd CLK55- the other being a BLK on BLK hardtop. Hes a big fan of KLEEMANN (see latest BENZO magazine). Heres my suggestion- get good seats at a game and wear a KLEEMANN t-shirt, stand up and wave your arms around every chance you get and see what happens!

I've seen pictures of his other car... seems that we share the same taste in cars and colors. Well, I don't have a Kleemann shirt... didn't even know they were available... I'll have to get one.

Doh... Sprewell just got arrested for driving with a suspended license... those Kleemanns bring nothing but trouble for the heavy footed.

Ditto on that... the grill, the bling bling wheels, the orange side markers, the fender gap.... it all needs some attention if you ask me.

no way a c24k can be faster than a c43. the c32k runs 6s 0-60 w/ a kleemann blower. i can understand that the c32k is par with a c43 but a c240 w/ a kleemann??? no way! a stock c240 only has 168hp.

Yeah i don't know who Ray Sprewell is either, but I know that Terran Sprewell(Sp?) was looking over things when Cecil was managing. I hope they run things better know, the only one i know that is still there is Edward Saga.....Good guy.

He's a member of MBWorld, I'm sure he'll post soon. His C24k is manual, so that can account for some of the difference. Also, there is much more to being fast than a 0-60...

I own a 2001 C24K and a 1999 C43. I had a friend drive the C43 and raced it against the C24K. 0-60 the C43 is faster. The gears on the 6spd manual are very short and the throws are too long. Now from 60 and on the C24K is faster. The gearing helps out a lot. We raced from 75-80mph to 130mph and the C24K walks away from the C43. I raced many CLK430's and I walk away from them easily.
It makes sense since on the dyno Im pushing about the same as the 430, around 220's whp but Im a bit lighter and I have better gearing.
