None fast enough!
evosport - Group Buy on 2-Piece Performance Rotors

So people have been asking for a sale or a group buy on our rotors for a while. We were never in a position to do that as we were seriously back ordered. Well, that has changed and we are flush in rotors. We have discussed and are in agreement to offer a group buy for these.

Here are some images of our rotors:

We will offer these at $1960/set compared to the standard retail of $2450. That is 20% off the retail. This is good if we get 10+ members and will be a ONE TIME event.

As you can see, we have few rotors in stock. In fact, we have them for nearly every application and orders can be processed immediately if members want to jump in.

Fitments include:
W211 E55
W219 CLS55
R230 SL55

W211 E63
W212 E63
W219 CLS63
W204 C63
W209 CLK63 Black Series
R230 SL63

Again, normally $2450.00 for the set of 4, we will offer 20% off making the group price $1960.00. There may be others, but ours by far have more testimonials and miles on them with members cars (street and track) then ALL of the others combined!

There will be an extra discount for ONE member who wants to drive this, the first one to reply to me will be the administrator for this.

Let the fun begin and have a great weekend!

Thanks
Brad

If I already have these rotors and I need to replace the worn out ones can I just buy the rotors itself or do I need to buy the hat as well? How easy is it to bolt the rotors to the hats?

Rotors

I have already purchased your rear lower control arms and they worked awesome, thanks Brad! Can I still get the rotors for the discounted price? I have an SL55 and purchased the toe links to correct the toe due to the huge hp increase. It would be great to reduce rotational mass also!

Thanks for the great feedback on our toe-links! Glad you are happy with them.

Unfortunately, that GB for rotors expired last year and is no longer being offered. But yes, the rotors offer a tremendous unsprung weight advantage over stock and something you can feel during braking and acceleration.

Please let us know how we can be of additional assistance.

Are these a direct replacement? Will it change my offset in any way. I have a custom wheel setup and don't want to alter that look.

100% direct replacement for both the OE 1-piece or 2-piece. Thanks.

The stock SL I have are a one piece setup. I can put your 2 piece setup on there? You only sell them that way, right? I'll save about 7-8 lbs. per wheel. Tempting to do and it would look great. My stock are just drilled, what will the drilled and slotted do better? Displace water if you drive in wet weather?

Yes, they only come as a two-piece rotor and they will fit on your SL55. Evosport also sells the larger 030 Performance Package rotors though I'm not sure if they have any in stock.

Speaking of driving in wet weather, if found this info on the AMG Private Lounge and though it was some pertty impressive brake technology.

"To match its horsepower, the SL 55 AMG is equipped with a racing-derived braking system. All brake discs are internally ventilated, measuring 14.17 inches in diameter in the front and 12.99 inches in the rear. All brake discs are fixed by eight-piston front calipers controlled by Sensotronic Brake Control (SBC). In emergency braking situations, SBC sensors monitor that the throttle has been slammed shut and hydraulically presses the pads closer to the disc for immediate braking response and maximum retardation when the brake pedal is applied. What is even more advanced is that the system can detect when the rotors are wet and periodically applies the brakes lightly to dry the rotors."

As Havoc said, yes our 2-piece will replace your 1-piece. Compared to the OE 1-piece, our 2-piece are over 13-lbs lighter per corner front and 7-lbs lighter per corner rear. Total 40-lbs weight savings over stock!

The slots help keep the pad surface clean, evacuate gases and dust, dissipate heat and push water off the disc.

The current offerings will not fit the CLK55/SLK55 030 6P setup but we will be releasing this application in the very near future (est. May/June 2012). If you'd like to call or email us, we would be happy to place you on the update list to inform you when these are released.

Thank you.

Next batch of rotors completes early next week. We recommend placing a sales order with our sales team to confirm a set.

The front brake rotors on my 2012 E550 coupe are 14.2" diameter and 1 1/4" thick, which I believe is the same as a C63. Are there other differences in the C63 rotor?
Bottom line: will your rotors fit the 2012 E550 Coupe?
Thanks
D.C.
