installing a chip on 2001 230 slk
Hi can any one tell me what color the IAT signal wire is? there are three wires connect to the IAT sensor. The instructions said to connect to one of the two wires on the IAT! problem there are three wires on my IAT sensor. So can any body tell me what color the signal wire is on a 2001 230 slk kompressor IAT sensor

Particularly if you've done any modifications whatsoever you do realise it doesn't cost much more to get the ECU remapped for the specific setup on a roller dyno for exponentially better results in the first place, right?
I don't mean to pour a bucket of water over your purchase, but the "out of the box" chip upgrade market has no more than replaced the "bolt on performance" of the holley carburettor market in the old days, the target market is the tyre kickers whom, much of the time wind up with less than what they started with.
In any case, identify what the signal wires are. That should tell you which ones connect to the product you purchased, being instructions should be specific to which signal wires it uses to work.
