Differences between Kleemann kompressor for 4.3, 5.0, and 5.4 liter engines?

Just wondering why the Kleemann kompressor kits retail for $14K for the 430 and 500, but $17K for the 55s? Doesn't make sense that the 5.4L kit should cost more than the others, especially since they are all basically the same engine.

Pricing

The Kompressor for the 5.5 liter is a different rotor group than the 4.3 and 5.0. This rotor group is specifically designed for the 5.5 engine. Having a rotor group produced that is outide standard production of the supplier costs a huge amount of $$ to develop.

Even if the 5.5 system was $20K its half of RT's system, produces more power, looks as if the factory produced it, most efficient intercooler, etc. CARB approved, installation requires days not months, ZERO powertrain failures.

$4000 for a Rolex? - Its just a watch, why cant they be $25 like Timex???

People could also say that about cars. Why buy a $50K Benz when you can buy a $10K Ford? Its all about what you want.
