Exhaust system for CLK500?

Ok, I am lost on what exhaust system to get. Can anyone help me with this? I like the Eisenmann exhaust with the Race Performance and either 2X83mm(Round) or 1X120X77mm(round). I know there are other exhaust systems out there such as Brabus, Renntech, etc. Which would you guys get if you wanted to make your car sound aggressive and powerful? It seems to me that the Eisenmann is nice, but I am still debating.

Also, does anyone know if I get an exhaust system, would it fit on my CLK500 stock rear bumper? Or would I have to get someone to shave off some of my bumper to fit the exhaust? The Eisenmann system seems to be too big in terms of the size of the exhaust to fit, but thats just my guess. So anyone with advice please help me.

Also, if anyone has any good deals with any brand exhaust system could you let me know? thanks!

2004 clk500 coupe
exhaust

i modified and installed a CLK55 unit on my CLK500,results were good not perfect, the rear dual tips are not centered with the relief cut in the bumper,a little trim on the bumper skirt left of cutout, also front flange from the factory 500 muffler had to be used, results as far as exhaust note it was deeper and as far as performance, no side effects

a car that can't do the throttle reset.
i say go with brabus...well established product with a great rep. i use brabus on my cars and love the throaty sound. as far as the bumper goes all the exhausts will bolt on regardless of whether you decide to cut the bumper or not. i reccomend you do cut though, for the more custom look. i have a good relation with brabus if looking for a "in".

I've got a Brabus exhaust on my '04 E500 and love the look and sound. I have the stock bumper, and the exhaust fits just fine.

the AMG exhaust on a CLK500 sounds pretty sick.

I'm using a REMUS CATBACK 2 x 2.99" and it perfectly fit my car's exhaust cut out. no gap, no bumper melt.

but if your going for something loud, do eisenmann, if u want something really throaty, do the AMG exhaust, i personally love it.

Dude, if you want your car to sound totally badass, go with the Eisenman Race. Its the best sounding exhaust (loudest and most aggressive) for the CLK500. I had no problems getting my 2x83 installed, if fits perfectly with the stock bumper, no cutting. If you do that and get the resonator cut out, it will sound like a beast, trust me.

Eisenmann on CL600

I know the Eisenmann sounds great. Makes goose bumps rise on my skin. Does anyone know if the 2 x 83 mm tips will fit on the stock bumper of a 2001 CL600? Or do I have to do some trimming?

Thanks.
