Looking for W210 E55 S/C'ed Data
Looking for W210 E55 S/C'ed Data
Just bought a 01 E55 this week and am planning on modifying it come March. I passed on getting a W211 E55 because I want a track toy as well, so a clean 01' it was, later I will get a nice Z06 in addition.
I am starting this thread in hopes of having one thread that helps identify who's Kit is the Best in Performance, Best in Value, and as well, Best in Durability/Reliability.
What I am looking for is SOLID INFORMATION on Super Charger kits available. Time slips are the prefered data, but other means of measurement are acceptable.
I know there are different MB camps whether it be "pro" Kleemann or "pro" HPS, so this thread isn't about arguing the design merits of either kit. (BTW, I am looking for info on the "New" HPS kit with the updated S/C'er, but older model data is welcome as well.)
This is a chance for the Tuner shops to post their own best data as well as Customer car data.
So down to the numbers, what are the typical as well as best 0-60 and 1/4 mile times.
Lets start with stock like my car is.
Best Times for a stock E55 = ???
Best Times for a Kleemann E55 = ???
Best Times for a HPS E55 = ???
Note: I realize that every car out there is a little different in setup and modifications, so please post car details as well so they can be taken into consideration.
Along the same lines, it is realized in advance that track differences can skew the results, differences can be taken into consideration as well.
I look forward to maximum participation.

Full test results of the Gen II HPS system on my 55 will be available after the 1st. It'll be a while before I get a chance to run it for time, but I'll have dyno charts. Never seen anyone post before and after dyno runs for Renntech, Kleeman, or anyone else for that matter. It's always "claimed" HP numbers. Guess I'll be the first. There is a W210 55 with full Renntech upgrades into the 11's!

Here is a link to one of the past threads. Just do a search with "kleemann dyno", there are probably 10-15 dyno graphs from 2002 and 2003.

My 2003 G55 put down 276.62 AWHP and 252.37 ft/lbs of torque on a 4 wheel dynojet when stock. With a Kleemann supercharger it put down 399.66 AWHP and 358.58 ft/lbs of torque on that same dyno. My G class has much more drivetrain loss than your E55, I figure it's about 30%. So, that would put me at about 520 crank HP. I've also run a 13.9 second 1/4 mile at 99 mps and my truck weighs 6,000 lbs. Kleemann's claims are very accurate in my opinion. I can E-Mail you a dyno chart if you're interested but for some reason I can't post it on this forum.

Don't really care for the Audi coolant tank on the pass. side with the blue cap. Originally a factory tank was located up against the drivers fender and looked really sano. Problem is, it kinked the hose to the cooler, and there's no way to change a headlight bulb if you have xenon's. Time prevented them from making that tank fit next to the stock radiator coolant tank, but my plan is to make that change myself.

More results and pics upcoming.
