Ok, got my problem solved. Just a small vac. line that popped off fortunately. HPS came to my office yesterday to temporarily install a boost guage to verify no more leaks, full boost was being achieved, and to scan for codes. The beast is back. The Audi tank looks out of place to me, not bad, but I will find a way to use a factory MB tank in the same location to make it more "factory looking". So far, so good.

I know, but I might be re-working the ICE first, and maybe drag radials for the track for now. It is going to happen eventually. Should have at least been an option from the factory.

The vac line wasn't my only problem. The jerking and bucking that usually happened coming off of WOT throttle had grown worse. The car is back to HPS to get the Audi tank replaced with a MB tank and to get the problem solved once and for all, or the system is coming off and the next choice will be Kleemann.

During initial testing, the original MAF sensor failed. Not a big deal since they're a known weakness. I had some light pinging as well if you stomped it from a low RPM and it was as hot as you could get it, for instance, stop and go driving VS the temp you see driving down the freeway. I'm sure 91 octane tree-hugger gas doesn't help. Other than that, I like the system, and the way it works most of the time. It's just not "there" yet. With this fixed, it would be a good value VS most other performance options for our cars IMHO.

Yes, that's my 55 after the installation was finally completed with a factory MB coolant tank for the intercooler. The pre-production system had a flaw that was discovered after a few miles were put on it. The system was replaced and a new dyno run was made. Since it ran good at WOT before, I didn't expect much of an increase, even with the K&N's I didn't have before. Results were 2 more HP than the first testing. It's finally coming together I think, and I can plan for a track day when I get the time.
