The second pic of the mantis is fantastic! I just bought my Canon 5D mkII, I'll have to play around and get some pics up as well.
What do you plan to have for a selection of lenses? I saw that there is a 18-200mm for it.

The NEX-5 is really the wife's camera. She has the 16mm and 18-55mm lens right now. She really wants the 18-200mm lens since the 55mm just doesn't zoom in enough.

Yep, that's the way it goes mate, I don't even want to get into what L series lens cost for my 5D. But, the lens makes or breaks the camera! My 400D with a kit lens was garbage, with a few L series and other high end ones it took fantastic pictures.
I presume that buying off the Sony website is like shopping at the Sony store though - more expensive that buying a Sony product than it is at a big box retailer... At least thats the way it was in Canada.
