Just going to throw this out there, is it bad to post more in the off topic section, rather than the car section. Although i do post in the car section I do not mod or anything. I think MB's are perfect the way you buy/lease them. So is it bad for your reputation here to post more in the off topic than other forums here?

I don't think anyone keeps count. Although I do know a few of the "high end" sections look down on poor old off-topic. Maybe we should have a showdown of sorts. Of course off topic would win, because, as you surely know by now, contains all knowledge available to mankind. Nothing escapes the grip of off-topic.

 

what happens if your post count does not increase for any posts done in OT? will the whoring stop, or it will just continue

 

To be honest, I think it doesn't matter.
I come here not for the post count, but for the content I can read. Sure the signal to noise ratio isn't all that well, but if you ignore some obvious whoring threads there's a lot of information that can be tapped.

 

post counts don't mean anything...its all about learning and about fellowship

I agree, a year ago I was told that me being a noob I dont know squat and look at me now 1500+ posts later and I still don't know anything
