As a de-throned post *****, my post count is of little value to me anymore - lol. But I just noticed something odd, my post count does not increment with posts in the OT section anymore. Is this just with me, or is this another new feature to help speed up access times??

It also happens in the "Test" forum.

 

That will result in a ban.
Whoring outside of OT threads (specifically designated threads) is heavily frowned upon.

Test forum posts have never counted towards over all post count.
Current OT posts do not either, but we are still experimenting.

 

You know I know that.

OT has slowed down a bit today, but everywhere else is fine.

 

So the test is: by stopping the posts from incrementing, you hope to deter those dreaded post ****** and eventually reduce the overall number of posts in the OT......?

We are hoping to curb post whoring, and encourage water cooler type of discussion in specific threads.

 

I noticed the very same thing, but figured Ricky, rev, and mr. bob just don't like me... But since I could care less about post count, I wasn't going to mention it.

There is none 'specifically' right now.
Moving the TOW thread corrupted the db, so first on our plate is to get that fixed and back working (which I personally believe should improve MBWorld performance by a significant amount given the resources we have).

 

To many ******, you'll never do it.
