R500 Amg?
I'm kinda new around Mercedes, but I'm trying to get more familiar with them. so this might be just normal.
I saw this R-class the parking garage of a hotel I was staying at about a month ago.... It say's R500 but all the other one's I've seen don't have the 4 exhaust tips. looks like it might be an AMG version. And also a very strange looking ball hitch. Wondering if anyone knows more about the exhaust why it has 4 and all the others i've seen only have 2... also whats with Werkswagon??

This is a test vehicle and is the AMG version R class due for release sometime in 2006. I am not sure of the engine specs but it will be one hot machine. The normal R500 has a 302HP 5 liter V8. The AMG will be larger and probably based on the new 32 valve V8 being introduced in the new S Class after the first of the year.
Go to www.germancarfans.com and do a seach for R Class AMG and you will find some information on it.
Werkswagon is found on all MB prototypes and test cars. The trail hitch is probably for testing purposes such as a 5th wheel rig.

The car of pictures shown from HITMAN187 is R500 AMG "Style".
The real AMG model is R55 or R63 AMG.

I don't know Otto...the HITMAN pictures show the quad exhasust with the wider rear skirt and the Werkwagon designation. I think the pictures show the "real" AMG test vehicle...with what engine I don't know.

It is the "Real" AMG
Here is the same car posted on a different forum by Hightest of High. The license plate is the same as well as the markings on the car.
