I always have thought that the cars with the chrome insert through the middle of the handle looked great with the full inserts. The new C class with the solid painted handle doesn't look so good, looks too broken up. I almost got these on my R class thrown in with the deal until I noticed how they fit on a GL in the show room. You will have to let us know when you wash the car, but the GL in the show room had them placed by the factory and there was still a noticeable gap, like the tape doesn't go all the way around the edges. This is a problem for anyone with a dark colored car as the water will get behind the insert and continue to leak out after you have dried your car.

I have them on my white R and they look sharp. I added the chrome bezels for around the headlights and taillights also and they do add something to the car. Now, i just have to do something about those stupid 17" stock rims...

I have them, along with the headlight rings and the front bridge. Still thinking about the fog light trim ones.

The door handle inserts on mine are kind of coming apart and I'm thinking about putting crazy glue on them. Or I could take them off and put more double-sided tape on them

Do not put crazy glue on them, you will ruin your paint.

The best way is:

Use dental floss to remove* and buy 3M heavy duty exterior adhesive back double tape (cut into 1/4 " width long strip) to put it back.

* If you have problem removing it, use hair drier to de-activate the old tape

adhesive before use dental floss.

Yea, I was kidding about the crazy glue. I'm going to remove them and apply new tape soon.
