my R500 on 22's - take a peak....

here is my r500 with 22"x10" et50 amg style 3 piece wheels. tires are 265/40/22- I had to get the higher sidewall due to wife otherwise I think it would look better with 285/35/22s.

Now I just need to get it star lowered to remove that ugly wheel gap.

They look like TSW Bremma's. Lower it about an inch and you'll be good to go.

they are replica amg wheels. i know the importer who brings them in from china. he makes replicas of mb, bmw, porsche and audi wheels. they buy oem wheels, mold and cast them in china where there is no intellectual property rights, so they are exact replicas- only thing they are prob heavier than stock, but costs hundreds less.

Nice looking wheels.... are they silver or chrome?
I'm debating on silver vs. chrome and 20's vs 22's. Does the ride feel much harsher with 22's???

they are silver. I don't like the chrome look. I don't know any European manufacturer that OEM chrome wheels.

since I have airmatic, the comfort setting is not noticeably affected. In the stiffer setting, I do notice a slightly harsher ride. The thing I notice the most is that it takes a little more effort turning the steering wheel.

Looks good, you really need to lower it, star or linkage will work.

That's probably due mostly to the width of the wheels.

so I guess the 285s would be even harder to turn? Doesn't the r63 come with 295s? It seems that when I turn the wheel to make a turn, it is somewhat slightly harder to get it back to center.
