$15k Dealer Incentive
I saw a 10k manufacturer to dealer incentive until Dec 1st. I haven't seen one at 15k. That would mean I should be getting an even better deal!
After talking a bit I got a sneak at his paperwork, and for a '06 R500 CPO he was going out the door for $27k. The car had 12k miles on it.
So I go over to the sales guy and start talking about the '08 R350 for my wife, and after about 20 minutes, he says if I'll buy the '07 on the floor w/ P2, roof, back-up, DVD headrests and i-pod, he'll go out the door for $40k. I come back with "at auction they're even lower w/ low miles", and he immediately comes back with $37k. I say I'll see him at the end of the year...
Wife is getting a new car for X-mas.
The deals are flying right now if you've got financing or can buy out right.
Dealer final sales price offer 35k. However I don't want to pay for the depreciation so went for a lease deal. In 2000 miles I won't be able to sell it for more than 27 if at all in todays market.
Their final lease offer was 35k 41% residual with a money factor of 0.00425 or 10.2% (ooof!)
My final offer was 35k 55% residual with a money factor of 0.00229 or 5.5%.
I passed... If anyone wants it I will refer you to the dealer if you like.

Now... it seems they are asking for at most $29-30K for low-mile CPO 350's (<23K miles), and as low as $19K for 30K-ish miles non CPO non loaded. I'm guessing I could get one now for around $25-27K OTD for CPO's or low/sub 20's for non CPO's.
No offense to current owners
I hope I could fetch a well-optioned CPO one in Jan/Feb for around $21K OTD
We were looking at preowned E-Class wagons and recently got turned on to the R-Class after seeing prices in the mid-20s. 40k+ miles doesn't scare me so I'm hoping to find something under $20k next year.
