Getting serious on a ’06 R350 to buy – need advice.

26K miles
Listed at $29,995
Offered $24,400 - got them to $25,900
6/5/06 In-service date
4/06 – Production date

In regards to maintenance/problem areas - what items/recalls should I make sure have been addressed since it will be a CPO.

You can contact Mercedes USA and ask them. They have helped me with the same question and when I gave them the VIN # they looked it up and told me about 2 recalls not addressed on the vehicle.

Biggest thing I would suggest is to make sure you have latest software update for tranny. Makes a world of difference.

If it's CPO, i wouldn't worry too much about any problem since it will be covered under warranty. Just make sure it's the color and has all the options you want.

can you tell me what state you are located ? I have very few CPO choices less than 5 !! in Ohio .... not sure why there are not many 2006 lease return in Ohio, may be people liked the CAR so much they opt for buying it rather than returning back to dealer.

I am guessing because back in 2006, the most popular lease special + $8K discount was 23 months lease during June 2006 to Dec 2006. If you count the months, the flood of lease return of R-classes back to the MB financial should be pretty much done by end of 2008.

What options does it have?
Mine with P1 was purchased last July with 26k mi and around same production date. $28k, no CPO.

And yes you will regret without Parktronic.

I bought an 06 w/ 17k on it. Prestine condition. Bought off eBay from this guys... (btw, I dont work for this company but very happy with the purchase). Paid 26k for it last year. Shipped from Chicago to NJ (to my door) for $300.

I would definitely contact them for nothing else but to compare pricing..
