Buying 07 R350
I'm close to buying 07 with 37K miles for $27,800 out of the door. Options: NAV, Panoramic roof, Rear Headrest DVD, Rear Audio controls, SIRIUS satellite radio, Teleaid, Parktronic, Hands Free communications, H/K system w/5.1 Dolby, Power Rear Quater windows, Power Tailgate, Rear seat entertainment package, 2nd row center console, 255/18 wheel package, 255/18 10-spoke wheel design, Speed and Load Index, Heated Front seats and Cargo cover. It this a good deal? It is not CPO, but one owner and clean carfax.

From dealer? Is the price on par with edmunds average condition trade-in? If so should be fair enough. Options sound good. Request paint thickness meter to check for any sign of bodywork/paint job. Carfax does not always tell full story. Buy the carfax or autocheck clean title warranty for peace of mind. You have 13k miles to consider extended warranty to cover major components.
Your oil change and tranny fluid change are due at 39k. These should cost around $500.

Yes from a dealer. edmunds clean trade-in price is $29,800. I will request for the bodywork/paint job and also the carfax clean title warranty sounds good. Thanks.

I guess the consensus here is to look for and buy the car (at least for MB) with all the options you think must have or are planning to add on later because MB is generally not cost-friendly when it comes to adding or modifying stuff later on.
But you seem to be getting a good deal on the car so I guess it should be okay.

2007 r350..2005 Audi A8L...1965 Corvette...2004 HD Custom Fatboy
That price sounds fair. Not super but very fair. The one option I would have liked to have is the airmatic. My audi A8L (best car I have ever owned hands down) has air suspension and it is a worthwhile upgrade for the r350. I feel you can do without the backup camera since it has parktronic. It has a lot of the other options so if you like it, I would go for it. I agree with balljack that adding on options on this car is a tough and expensive task so take your time and find one with the options you really want.

Fair Price
Go for it!! It seems like a fair price! You won't find the backup camera on any 06 or 07. You have parktronic which works pretty good. I have seen some other threads that discuss the rear view camera and how to install in after market one that displays on the NAV screen.
