R350 2nd row console

Where would I locate a 2nd row center console (black) for my 09 R350? I have the center seat version now and would it be hard to change out?
Thanks

2008 R350 & 2008 C300
The second row console is available through the Mercedes Benz parts department. When I bought my R in 2008 they quoted me $400 for it, but I too have the 7 seat option and from my quick over view, decided the seat couldn't be removed. I have since been proven wrong on this board, as another poster here has figured out how to remove the center seat, but I believe the seat belt harness or post it connects to still sticks up. Because your planning on putting the console there, it would hide that, but it may still interfere with it sitting flush to the floor. If the bottom of the console is hollow there won't be a problem, thats something someone here with a center console might help you to find out.

I have looked at the Buckle seat belt harness and it is held by a bolt or two that secured to the floor covered by the carpet.

So I believe that it can be removed.

Thanks for the reply. I will check with my local MB parts.

I am really researching finding a center console for 2nd row seat in a 2007 R350. I saw the previous threads that they cost $400.00 but have been unable to get this information from my local mercedes parts department. Any additional places to call or look?

well it seems that it only comes in black. Unbelievable. Has anyone else had any luck with a different color? possibly the color of the interior which is grey. Thanks though for your directions

Installed Rear Center Console

I removed the arm rest and installed a perfect rear console in my 07. I bought both the mounting plate and a perfect console for $125 from a salvage yard online. The plate mounts to 4 pre installed threaded holes under the carpet. The armrest are removed by going in from the back of the seat and pulling a ring pin from around the armrest shaft. I then plugged the armrest holes with black plastic plug covers and pvc from lowes. I looks factory. I hope this helps.

Hey briland - I think I'd like to do this with my black interior '06. Just have to remove the armrests from the inner sides of both middle row seats, did you have to cut your carpet?

I know this is a little late response. I am adding the 2nd row console to my 08 R350. Do you remember what size bolts are used to secure it to the floor. Also, how much carpet did you need to remove?

Roswell, how much carpet did you need to cut to make it work?
