Like Mike Levy's comment on the board states, guess they've never driven an R63.

And seriously, driving dynamics of an R Class compared to a real minivan- not to mention a truly plastic interior on the Town and Country. The R Class is ONLY $10,000 more! LOL

Someone should phone 911. A journalist has his cranium firmly wedged up his rectum.

The journalist's description of the R amounts to what he considers to be a waste of money. This I don't necessarily disagree with, since I shopped for mini-vans along with the R. However, what does economics have to do with being boring? Would buying a ring from Tiffany vs. Target be somehow boring?

Fair things to say about the R, but in the wrong article. Fail.

Dealer used to use R-Class for pickup and drop off, and I was always impressed with the ride, the interior, and the size. No mini-van comes close to that. This reviewer just wanted to get an MB into the mix to generate some buzz. Yawn.

P.S. Wife would love an R-Class, and she would not be caught dead in a mini-van of any kind.

I agree with all the cars in that article except the R-class.

R is definitely overprice and 06-10 R-class also doesn't look the nicest. However, it is quite fun to drive especially with the diesel or V8 engine.

Arm chair review thats all...they did not mention that they actually drove any of them. Honestly the R is not "fun to drive" but it sure beats Lexus RX350 and anything else Toyota they are truly appliances. There are much worse vehicles out there. I also disagree with the Tahoe, it is an amazing vehicle for what it is so easy to get in and drive for such a monster vehicle. And they must not have driven a Subaru in the snow, yes boring and underpowered but great in winter!
