Misfires P0300, P0302, and P0303

I just received info for several codes on my vehicle. Is it possible that the P0300(random misfires) was triggered because of the misfires in cylinders 2&3(P0302, P0303)?

Yes. That is most likely the reason. You should post some info about your vehicle, such as exact model, year, and mileage. You might get a little more assistance that way.

In all likelihood it's your spark plug wires, they seem to lose conductivity around that age and mileage. It's also the cheapest fix and good preventative maintenance item to perform at this time.

It's important to apply dielectric grease to both ends when you put the new ones on. It will prevent corrosion.

Thanks Marc.
Any suggestion for a specific spark plug wires? Or will I be good just picking up wires from AutoZone geared for my vehicle?

I would recommend the bosch with the full metal collar. When it comes time to remove them again, it's a lot easier than the rubber ones.

Your engine may also have the all-in-one ignition coil and spark plug wires, which are considerably more expensive, so you may only want to replacers them as they fail, instead of replacing them all preemptively.

did this happen only once? Is it setting the codes regularly?

a simple one time idle stall will cause missfire too, so i would not worry unless its happening often..

My 2005 C240 has 225K Km and never a problem. original spark plug cables. just changed the plugs. runs smooth.
