R350 Lower Control Arm Rear Bushing Replacement

The rear bushing on my right lower control arm is leaking fluid (see pic 1). That bushing is in a separate housing from the actual control arm. If I remove the 3 bolts in pic 2, can I easily get that housing and the bushing off the control arm? Also, does anyone know the torque specs on those 3 bolts to get them back on?

Yes undoing three bolts the bush with its housing comes loose and can be removed. To refit a replacement you would have to use an additional jack to raise the control arm back up to align the holes. Will check the torques in 10 mins, will add them here for you. As i remember the middle bolt has to be tightened to somewhere 250Nm. Thats a lot.

Thank you so much. This is amazing. At 250nm, that middle bolt will probably be ***** to get out. Part ordered. Hopefully will do this next weekend.

You are welcome. I would spray some WD40 on the bolts day or two berofe, will help undoing them. And I was using a long breaker bar, came open with no problem.

I didn't know that bushing had oil in it; I thought it was just a rubber bushing.
Either way, let us know how it works out and take some pics.
