r320 cdi
vehicle rising please wait MBR320cdi

Took MB r320 for its D service, after getting my car back from the shop, The next day while driving on the freeway I got a vehicle rising please wait message. I drove home and parked the car. the next day I went to start the car and it was "pancaked" on the rear wheels. when I started the car , I received a red " stop the vehicle is rising message ". Contacted the shop, they started the "its not if its going to go out but when" conversation. I reminded them that they diagnosed my car when I dropped it off, and there is no mention about my airmatic or my suspension. I also had them look and the power steering, they said I needed to replace my rack n piņon, for about 5k. I am confused because my car has never had any issues related to suspension until my dropped off my car. any help or ideas ??
