Replace spark coils and spark plugs 2012 R350
What is the procedure to replace the coils and spark plugs on a 2012 R350 with a V6 in it? Do I have to remove the intake manifold?
Thanks,
Henry

Are these the intake runners that have to be removed? I have looked around for YouTube videos, but found them for the older model years.

I had the plastic cover off the car and the brace, but I didn't see the coils. I thought I had seen a video or write-up that said the intake had to come off, but I can't find it now.

I have been working on various vehicles for 40 years. I have the brace and the plastic covers off. The cover that has V6 on it does not simply pop off. There is one snorkel on the right side of the engine. The air cleaner box to the throttle body to the what appears to be the intake cover (has V6 on it) is a solid piece. I don't see how it is connected to the engine. Please see the attached photos. This may be a different engine than what you have. Thoughts?

that plastic part with the V6 is the top of the intake manifold/runners which you will need to remove to get to the top of the “V” and access them.

def you need to remove the cowel it’s not hard to do but after that follow the video
