I'm waiting for solid pricing... I was thinking of a mini van for the family... what better than a 500 hp mini van I can have fun in while out and about with the domesticated side of myself?

Yes, I know they don't want to call it a mini van.

But it is.

Its the coolest fastest minivan on the planet...

I just want to know what pricing is going to be like...

Should be interesting seeing this vehicle put some serious iron on the loosing side of stop light sprints.

Would be very funny indeed, if this model had more mod's available to outhandle/out perform many sports cars.

Couldn't have put it much better myself - except to perhaps add a few words about comfort, and about safety, in all weather conditions.

I am very much looking forwards to mine...even if I still think she's just a little bit homely.

Sure you can drive it so often being that you own over 20 AMG cars according to your posting. One day per car per month?

So is your family around for just one day a month just like all your cars?

I have a multiple-passenger vehicle at each of my residences.

Used to be customized GMC Yukon XL's and G55 XXL's; but this year I have decided to switch-out one to an R63, two to a new G65 XXL, and the rest to GL63's (when they come out).

The frequency of their use is determined by the need for a mulitple-passenger vehicle....

Clay, you are my hero, I wish I had the ability to buy as many "just-released" Benzes as I wanted to, I'm going to Dubai in a few months, we should throw down!

One of the G65 XXL's is going to Dubai. I will post pics of one of them here on the forums when they are built and I take delivery.

I don't plan on going to the UAE during July and August because of the weather.

I am planning on running into JimmyG the next time I am there -- he travels more than I do though.... Perhaps we can meet up there LawrenceAW.

October 1 sounds like it should be a good date for me as well.

We'll keep in touch on the forums as the time approaches.

Apologize for the off-topic folks -- but no PM ability at present....

Stretched (it's either 18 or 20 inches - I forget) G-Class with three rows of seating (second row can be either two captain's chairs or a three-seater bench; third row is two captain's chairs) with an AMG -65 series twin-turbo V12 as the engine.

I saw one in Affalterbach. Big thing.

Hey ClayJ, I was in Marbella last month on Holidays, and my neighbour had a grey SLR with a red stripe on the wheel, and red brake kaliphers. And a lot of other cars among which the attached one. The owner was from the Emirates. Happened to be your house?

The security guard wouldn't let me photograph the SLR on private property

Wasn't mine - I haven't added a residence in that area - although I have thought about it more than once. Quite a few people whom I know from the Emirates do holiday there throughout different times of the year.

It is pretty funny, actually - we run into each other in Monaco and the Bahamas all the time too.

I suppose that the choicer spots on the planet are frequented by those whom have the freedom to do so...makes sense.

Did you have a good time in Marbella?

I hear that!

I am still considering a place in Andalusia, and a place on Ibiza...still considering means that I haven't jumped on either - which means that I probably won't, unless something jumps up and grabs me by the seat of the pants and just forces me to do it. LOL.

I do like the Costa del Sol. And lots of Brits (and our Deutschland brothers) there.

'Course it is also full of the Russian Mafia and drug running activity...and the area is finding a new-found love in Houses of Ill Repute. And thank goodness the ETA won't be feeling the need to blow-up tourists there anymore....

I'll probably still do the place on Ibiza just because it is such a nice place. For Andalusia I think that I am just going to join the Ascari Club and stay at their place when I am in the neighborhood....

Glad you had a good time, sprins

At that price this is going to be one rare vehicle. 87K for a super duper version of a vehicle that is already a tough sell? Yikes.
