Two R 63s listed in Auto Trader
For those of you who really need an R 63, there are 2 used R 63s currently listed on Auto Trader. One is in MN and the other is in CO.

I'm going to be giving the outfit in MN a call tomorrow; it appears to meet the prime qualifications - decent warranty remaining and not black.

70k?
Good joke people.
These are going through the acutions for low 50's or less.
Let them keep those cars in their inventory for about 5 months then offer them 52k.
There was a R63 on e-bay. guy wanted 69k for it with 44k miles. No one bid on it. There is very little demand for these.
I think we are the only three who like the car

Me too - I want one bad
But I don't want to put gas in it. Like one reviewer said - The appeal might be limited to Germany on odd-numbered Thursdays in August and when someone else is paying for the gas. In the States, ..... risk becoming front-page news when they are pulled over at 155 mph with an R63 full of children wearing helmets.
Just too funny. I NEED one. So I ordered the stainless rubber nub gas/brake pedals for my R350.
Even better - a wrecked one that I can part out to my normal R.
Anyone have a line on those beautiful wheels?

I guess I am number 7 now
Drove one in Prague, and love the idea of having 500HP in a minivan/station wagon for my soccor mommy, ha, ha.
See yeah

Buckhead Mercedes are nuts.
Prices on service, cars, and pretty much everything else. In doing comparisons with all dealers in Atlanta they are the highest. 69K for a R63 is crazy, dealerships have them for less let alone the auction. I know it's not many out there, but it's a very low demand for them.
In the 50's would be more like it, that is correct.
A good note about my R500. This weekend my wife went on a retreat with her sorority line sisters in the Blue Ridge Mountains. My wife was the only one that could get up the hill to the cabin, everyone else's cars got stuck at the bottom.
Another win for the R!

An AMG is easily worth 20-25K more than the straight MB variant. I've owned the R500 and the R63 is everything the R500 is not: Serious acceleration, no more wallowing in the turns and far better looks, especially the only R63 Barolo Red in existence! The dealers don't have them and the auctions will never see one; far too desirable. My dealer has asked me twice to sell it back to him. I'm thinking of selling my SL600 RennTech, since the R63 fulfills my need for speed.
The R500 was enough for both of us. Acceleration is great, and never had any issues in turns, but everyone has their preference. That Barolo Red 63 must be awesome, can you post some pics? Love to see it!

If you keep the R63 do an ECU tune and headers and you should have around 560 hp. RENNtech will be glad to help.

Count me as #9 or #10? I love the R63, it's the perfect "sleeper" and fits my needs. We just had our 1st born son and all of his gear barely fits well in our '08 C-Class. If luck would have it and I could find an R63 around 45K tomorrow I would. And to the guy that says he has the only Barolo red, the only R63 I've ever seen in person and in the wild crossed my path three weeks ago and it was barolo red.

all of a sudden, there are two 2007 R63's in the SF bay area...MB oakland, and MB pleasanton, asking $55 to $59k. i might swing by tmrw and ck it out...if nothing else, just for fun. given that i remember how the ML55 used to be my dream car(and now you can't give them away for $10-15k), i will obviously be keeping my excitement in check. after all, for that price, i could buy a really nice R500(which i just did) AND a E55 or S600...and still have money left-over.

btw, how was the MB Pleasanton one - i'm assuming you looked at both before deciding?
now, what about your E55 wagon...hmmm.

Wife did not like silver. that pleasaton has. and this one is fully loaded. but has more mile. but the main thing I got the hook up in here.
did not pick up yet, so you can see in the service side of used cars dealership, lower bay on rack.
Well the E55 wagon is my car, and it is in shop going VRP-600 as we speak.

If you bought the one in Oakland, then I guess they're both gone, the one in Pleasanton isn't in autotrader anymore so it looks like someone bought it...damn, was gonna go have a look at it tomorrow. Silver is fine, I can't live with black cars anymore.
