Looking for 600 Grosser Grill and customizer.

Hi all

I was browsing the web and came across the 1000SEL site and browsed through the images. Something caught my eye. I'm keen in adding a piece of history to my W126 and that piece is the 600 Grosser grill. Anyone knows where I can get my hand on that item and maybe recommend a good customizer to install the hood? Cause I'm quite sure the hood needs to be resized and all

Thanks for any feedback that you guys can provide

I would reckon so I myself just found it by chance as I was browsing the net I actually plan to install it on the car as per earlier illustration.. or you can get a better picture at this web-link http://www.1000sel.com/ are you familiar with the restoration center in California that you mentioned earlier? do you mind passing me their contact details?

Once again, thank you for the response and great info that you provided

one i dont live in calif,

unless u have very deep pockets, otherwise u dont wanna to buy anything that're made for the 600.
it would have been much cheaper to install a RR grill on your car. since RR shadow made 10x more cars than merc 600.

My best guess is between $13k and $60k for the parts and work, depending on quality.

I am shocked to see there is a 600 Grosser grill on Ebay for $1,800.00 USD.

It has been years since I have seen a hood come up for sale.

my bro bought a RR shadow grill with the flying lady aka spirit of ecstacy for couple of hundred on ebay.
so if u can mount that on your car for sure it'll turn some heads, whereas your 600 grill may worth 10k, who on earth can tell?
