The article also talks about the Jaguar XJ-S and Porsche 928 as being good investments as well. The Jaguar is charitably a piece of crap. The Porsche, on the other hand, is one of the best GT cars ever made.

I feel like these old cars are always something ou should invest in just because they will never get out of style and in a few decades you can try to sell it to a collector. Just keep in mind to keep the car is good shape

Yeah I do like those old dogs. They are very nice. I feel lie they are one of those perfect old cars that you buy and restore in your own garage using the money you get from your 401k or the savings you had before that. (If you don't know what a 401k is I'll leave the info below). I am kind of planning to do that when I am done. I kind of want a car like that so I can run around doing trips and visiting new places with my wife and kids. I feel like it would be one of the best retirement plans. I wonder what other people plan for her retirement? I am also thinking of maybe moving to Europe. I feel like maybe it will be a good idea haha

MBWorld Fanatic!
I've got an R107 560 and would much prefer the C126, but I'm simply running out of storage space. As a "normal" guy who has too much money but not enough garages, compromise is on my mind constantly. I never rid myself of older cars when I buy a new one... I just can't bring myself to part with them when the money I could obtain is so low compared to the intrinsic value of the car, so at this point between my mom, dad and me, we are approaching the high teens of mercedes...
