Mercedes 300sdl
Rough idling OM603. Need Advice please.

Hi Guys, new to this form. This is from my 87 300sdl. Can some one please tell me what this thing is ? Also the electrical connector came loose and now my om603 diesel engine is idling very rough. I plugged it back in but it doesn't make a difference. It is still running rough. Need help !!
