Have you tried Edmunds.com? They usually have tons of info about everything.

The car is fantastic. I am from Spain, and I´ve got a 81 SE380 euro, I´m very happy with it, but I would like a SEC car. I think that this rims are very beautiful, but I think that ours cars (clasicc cars) don´t need nothing more that original parts.

Congratulations for buying that car.

I´m sorry, my English is not very good.

i did sell the mazda...the fact that the buyer didn't negotiate at all and even payed more for the tires made me feel like i did something wrong...lol
then i got my feedback from them and it was like 'love the car ' and all...

Car looks sharp, rims look too boy racer/ricer for my taste. Need something w/ more presence on these cars. IMHO, I have yet to see a wheel that looks as good as the Monoblock's on a 126.

560SEL
126's somewhat have a less curved and classic style design.. typical racing stuff doesnt look good on them even if its a coupe.. u need to get plain looing but fine crafted and well built rim to suit the taste of ur elegant w126's

I Really dislike chrome wheels as well.. The vast majority of monoblocks are not chrome. What looks good on an SL55 and an SEC are two very differnt worlds..

Well, I rather like the look of the monoblocks on the car.. You mainly see Aero II's on cars (that's what I run..) if you want something a little different/harder to find, look for a clean set of Aero I's, they a little harder edged then the II's.

Your best bet is spend a good bit of time poking around MBCoupes as well as other forums looking at members cars...Best way to get a feel for what you think will look good.

Aero I's.

To be honest, I've seen Very few wheels that I think look good on an SEC.

If the MB aero's don't do it for you, go w/ what does..!

Wheels other than Monoblock

I personally believe the chrome AMG R129 Models wheel are outstanding on these cars. I do not care for the Monoblock they are too clunky.
