1985 European Mercedes Benz 380 SEL
Grey market info?

Hello everyone,

I drive a 1985 Mercedes Benz 380 SEL. I believe it is a grey market car. Does anyone knwo the specs for engine (or know where i could find them?)

I am also interested in finding a chrome grille for it. Share any knowledge you have. Thank you Derek

1987 300SDL aka the "Money Pit"
Most online parts sites can get you a chrome grill.
Fastlane for example at MercedesShop.com

But the aftermarket chrome isn't as good as the oe, the dealer can get the whole assembly for about $350 last I checked.

Also the dealer could run the vin and tell you if it is a euro car.

I think the vin on a euro car start with WDB126...
